Crutch Training Instructions
***The injured leg always travels with the crutches***
Walking: The injured leg and the crutches advance first (a normal stride-length ahead), then the uninjured leg advances at a normal stride-length
ahead of the crutches.
Walking down stairs: The crutches and the injured leg advance first, then the uninjured leg.
Walking up stairs: The uninjured leg advances first, then the crutches and the injured leg.
Antibiotics after joint replacement
